Ucourse, online learning platform
Role: Lead Design. Customer Development, Prototyping, Interaction Design, Visual Design

‘How can I help the Telfort customer better in their orientation and ordering process when they are looking for a new smartphone and new phone subscription?
My starting points
Project: Internal Venture Ucourse at Sanoma Innovation Lab
Ucourse, online learning platform
Role: Lead Design. Customer Development, Prototyping, Interaction Design, Visual Design
Lean Startup
At this Internal Venture at Sanoma Innovation Lab, I was working lean, using Lean Startup principles (Eric Ries). My role was to design high fidelity prototypes of the Ucourse online learning tool to get an understanding of how the platform interacts and it shows the value of the platform for companies. We used the prototypes as a validation tool to get corporate companies on board and to get financial investors interested
Process
Ucourse is a white-labeled multi-user e-learning platform.
The platform is designed for three persona’s, and therefore I designed three user journeys:
Expert
That post their e-learnings on Ucourse
Employee
That learn on the Ucourse platform
HR Advisor
That track their employees' progression
Selection of page’s I’ve designed
The complexity of multi-user story’s
The multi-user platform has lot’s of complexities due to many different user-stories and features. The business model is the Appstore business model. Users can browse through courses and can buy and follow a course and trainers can upload their e-learning. Companies have their own company-branded e-learning library
